Crawl budget

Crawl budget is how many pages of a site a search engine is willing and able to fetch in a given time. Small blogs rarely run out of it. It matters when a site has many thin, duplicate or slow pages, because the crawler then spends its visits on pages that will never rank instead of on the ones that should.
