A page can hold position 3 and still be left out of the AI Overview above it. A rank report will not show you that.

AI Overviews
Which focus keywords show an AI Overview, which URLs it cites, whether your site is among them, and the most cited domains. Read from results SerpDad already fetched, at no extra cost.
AI Mode
Scheduled checks for the queries you choose, by default your top 50 focus keywords by search volume. Each result keeps its check date and the change since the last check.
In the lists
List articles in the top 10 for your plan keywords, split into Already listed and Not listed. The Not listed rows are possible outreach targets. Export them as CSV.

Plan your keywords
SerpDad reads the live top 10 for every keyword in your plan. The AI Overview, when Google shows one, comes back in the same results.
Pick your AI Mode queries and schedule
Weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly. AI Mode costs about $0.0012 per query on your DataForSEO key, so 50 queries cost about 6 cents a check. You see the estimate first.
Read the citations per keyword
See who was cited, whether it was you, and what changed since the last check. Every result has a receipt that lists the cited URLs.
Google only. What it won't do.
SerpDad checks Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. It does not track ChatGPT, Perplexity, the Gemini app or Claude. If you need answers from those, use a tool built for chatbot prompts.
It also never explains why Google cited a page, and it never claims SerpDad caused a citation. It shows what was cited and when. That is the same rule as our four refusals.
Some AI Overviews load after the page and send no citations. SerpDad does not catch those yet. An option for them is planned after a coverage test.
Same results, no second fetch. AI Overviews ride on the plan you already run.
SerpDad reads the AI Overview from the same Google results it fetched to build your page plan. On our own run that was 1,797 keywords for $13.10 in provider fees, and reading the overviews added nothing to it.
AI Mode is the only part that costs extra, and it shows the estimate before it spends.

Does SerpDad track ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude?
No. SerpDad covers Google's AI features only: AI Overviews and AI Mode. If you need chatbot prompt tracking, you need a different tool.
What does an AI Overview check cost?
Nothing extra. SerpDad reads AI Overviews from the Google results it already fetched for your plan, so there is no second fetch.
What does an AI Mode check cost?
About $0.0012 per query, billed to your own DataForSEO key. Checking 50 queries costs about 6 cents. You see the estimate before anything runs.
How often does it check AI Mode?
On the schedule you pick: weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly. By default it checks your top 50 focus keywords by search volume, and you can run a check now at any time.
Will it tell me why Google cited a page?
No. It shows which URLs were cited and whether your site is among them. It never claims to know why Google picked a page, and it never claims SerpDad caused a citation.
