One project, five hubs. Open each one and see what SerpDad showed us for serpdad.com.
SerpDad plans which pages a site needs, writes sourced briefs and drafts for them, measures them once they ship and says which one to fix next. Workflows run the routine parts on a schedule. Below is the real app, on our own project. Click through the hubs: every screen holds our data from the run that planned this site.
Your first plan is free up to 1,000 keywords, with briefs for the top 5 pages. No card needed.
One question per hub. Each hub answers one thing, and shows how it got there.
- Plan
- Which pages should this site have, and which page owns each keyword?
- Write
- What goes on each page, with a source behind every claim?
- Measure
- What moved after the page shipped, and by how much?
- Improve
- Which existing page should I open first, and why that one?
- Workflows
- What can run on its own, and where does it stop for a person?
Our project, as it happened. From four keyword files to a page plan and a first draft in two days.
Every step below is from the app's own record. Times are the app's, in UTC. The amber markers are the moments money was spent. The blue ones are the moments a person decided.
- 19 Oct 2026Run 1 fetches its first top 10s
Our first run on the project. 408 of the top 10s it bought were reused a day later, at no cost.
- 20 Oct 2026Four sources imported
Three Ahrefs exports for topical authority, keyword clustering and keyword cannibalization, plus the keywords from Run 1: 395 + 408 + 239 + 755 = 1,797.
- 20 Oct 2026Estimate shown, run approved
$4.32 to $14.77, on our own DataForSEO and AI keys. Asif Khondokar approved it.
- 16:40 to 16:47Live top 10s fetched
The top 10s behind the receipts on this site were fetched in those seven minutes. The rest of the run grouped them.
- 17:36 to 17:47Format and scope decided
"6 of 8 ranking pages are how-to, so the page is a how-to." "8 of 10 results are dedicated pages (5 or more needed), so it gets its own page." Two real lines from a receipt log.
- 18:00Run 2 completed, in 1 hour 22 minutes
791 pages planned, 94 keywords as H2 sections, 41 parked, 295 calls raised for a person. $13.10 billed by the providers.
- 21 Oct 2026Briefs built
36 of 791 briefs ready, among them the keyword clustering brief at 89% coverage.
- 03:07 to 03:10First article drafted and checked
Run 24 of Approved outline to finished article: 65 claims confirmed, 49 sentences removed, $0.19 billed.
- Now1 of 177 topical authority pages live
The homepage, built for "topical authority tool", a New page in the plan. The rest ship one by one, and Measure follows each.
What each hub reads, makes and spends. Every paid call is on your own keys, and several hubs cost nothing to run.
| Hub | Reads | Makes | Cost unit | From our workspace |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plan | The live top 10 per keyword, volumes, your own pages | The page plan, receipts, review calls, the topical map | Per keyword | $13.10 for 1,797 keywords |
| Write | The page's top 10 and the source pages it cites | Briefs, checked drafts, exports and CMS drafts | Per brief, per article | $0.0008 to $0.0021 a brief; $0.19 an article |
| Measure | Search Console, rank checks, stored results | Results, rank moves, AI citations, competitors, the report | Per rank check, per AI Mode query | About $0.0006 a keyword; $0.0012 a query; the report $0 |
| Improve | Search Console, your crawl, your links | Next actions, refresh briefs, link plans | Per crawled page | About $0.00015 a page |
| Workflows | Whatever its blocks read | Runs with a receipt per step | The sum of its blocks | $0.19 for run 24 |
Rates from the docs and our own bills. Search Console sync, AI Overview citations, competitor counts and the report read stored data and cost $0. Catching AI Overviews that load late is Planned. Our whole bill, line by line
Four rules the app enforces. Here is what each one looks like on screen.
It never invents a fact. A sentence with no source keeps Sign off disabled. There is no approve-anyway.
It never publishes. The Act group saves, exports and notifies. No block can publish to a site.
It never claims it caused a ranking. It reports moves past a line, with the math, and never says why.
It never resells provider usage. Every paid call bills your own account, at the provider's price.
The honest limit.
SerpDad plans one market: United States, English, desktop results. It does not invent keywords you never gave it, so the plan is only as wide as your list. And the hubs that read Search Console need history, so a new site like ours spends its first months in Plan and Write. The four refusals, in full
Who it is for. Teams whose archive no longer fits in one head.
SerpDad fits a site with 30 or more pages already earning impressions, that is still publishing, that pays for content and has one person accountable for it, with at least 90 days of Search Console. The clearest signs are more than one person publishing to the same site, and traffic flat or falling while output stays steady. That is when pages start competing with each other and nobody remembers what the site already owns.
It is built for in-house SEO and content leads first, and works the same way for agencies, online stores, publishers, local service businesses and SaaS and docs teams. A brand-new site can use Plan and Write from day one, as we did. SerpDad for in-house SEO
One plan, every hub. Priced per workspace.
No tiers and no keyword limit beyond 200,000 per run. Provider fees go to your own accounts, so the price below is the whole SerpDad bill.

What does SerpDad actually do?
It plans which pages your site should have, one owner page per keyword, from Google's live top 10. Then it writes sourced briefs and drafts for those pages, measures them, and tells you which ones to fix next.
Is SerpDad a writing tool?
Writing is one part of the loop, not the start. SerpDad decides which pages to build or fix first, then drafts only from sourced brief items. A person signs off by name, and you publish in your own system.
What do I need before my first run?
A DataForSEO key, one AI provider key and a list of keywords. Search Console is optional but recommended, because it lets SerpDad check the pages you already own.
How much does it cost?
One plan per workspace: $15 a month for the first 30 workspaces, $25 for the next 70 and $35 after that, locked for life while you pay. Provider fees go to your own keys. Your first plan is free up to 1,000 keywords.
Does SerpDad publish to my site?
No. It creates drafts in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Google Docs. Someone on your team reviews and publishes them.
Which AI search features does it check?
Google only: AI Overviews and AI Mode. It reads AI Overview citations from the results it already fetched, and checks AI Mode on a schedule you set.
