llms.txt

llms.txt is a plain text file at a site's address, such as /llms.txt, that tells AI tools what the site is and which pages matter most. It is a proposal, not a standard, and Steve Toth ranks it as a low priority next to clear pages and good structure. This blog writes one anyway, because it costs nothing to keep.
