Product / Improve / Internal links
An internal linking tool that shows why each link belongs there.
SerpDad is an internal linking tool that suggests links from the same evidence it plans pages with: shared top 10 results, secondary keywords and hubs. It never suggests a link your site already has. Every brief carries an internal link plan, and drafts place those links where the anchor reads naturally.
Suggestions come from your crawl and your page plan. You place the links.
Linking by hand doesn't scale. And linking by word match links the wrong pages.
Nobody remembers the archive
The writer links the three posts they happen to know. The page that fits best was written two years ago by someone who left.
Same words, different topic
Two pages can share a word and answer different searches. A link between them helps neither reader.
The same anchor, everywhere
One phrase points at five different pages across the site, and no one can say which page it is meant to describe.
How the internal linking tool works. Crawl, match to the plan, suggest with evidence.
Crawl your site on your own key
Improve, Site pages crawls up to 10,000 pages on your DataForSEO key, at about $0.00015 per page. You see the estimate before it starts, and SerpDad's servers never crawl your site.
Match every URL to the page plan
The crawl records links in and links out for each page, and whether it matches a planned page. That is what lets SerpDad see which links already exist.
Suggest links with a reason
Each suggestion names its evidence: the two pages share top 10 results, the target is a secondary keyword of the source, or both sit in the same hub.
Mark it added, dismiss it or copy it
You decide what goes live. Suggestions are a list you work through, not edits SerpDad makes to your site.
Before the page is written. An internal link plan in every brief.
Every SerpDad brief has an internal link plan: which related pages to link to, the anchor for each, why it fits and where it goes. The writer starts with the links decided, not a note that says "add some links".
The Plan internal links step builds that plan and places the links in drafts. A link is placed only where its anchor reads naturally. Signed drafts staged to WordPress keep their internal links.
The content score gives internal links 5 of its 100 points: links placed and the anchor rules met. It is advice, never a gate.
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Anchors | Taken from each target page's own keywords |
| No repeats | No anchor text is used twice in the project |
| How many | 3 to 5 contextual links per page by default |
| Placement | Only where the anchor reads naturally |
After the page is live. Broken, orphaned and thinly linked pages.
The same Internal links page lists the repairs your crawl turned up, each with a next step:
Broken internal links come with a suggested replacement, so you fix the link instead of deleting it.
Orphan pages, with no internal links pointing in, come with two suggested source pages.
Thinly linked pages are listed so you can see which planned pages the rest of the site barely points at.
Outgoing links get their own check in Improve, with dead links behind a fact first.
Don't trust us. Inspect the plan our links come from.

What it won't do. It never suggests a link you already have.
If the crawl found the link, it is not on the list. You never wade through suggestions to add links that are already there.
SerpDad also never edits your live pages. Suggestions are yours to mark added, dismiss or copy, and links in drafts arrive in a draft that a person reviews and publishes.
And it makes no claim about what a link will do for rankings. It tells you which pages belong together, and shows the evidence.
Where it goes next. Links are one part of the loop.
Content briefs
The internal link plan sits next to the outline, sources and questions.
Sourced drafts
Links placed in drafts that a named person signs off.
WordPress drafts
Signed articles arrive as draft posts, internal links included.

How does SerpDad decide which pages to link?
Each suggestion names its evidence: the two pages share top 10 results, the target is a secondary keyword of the source page, or both pages sit in the same hub of your page plan.
Will it suggest links my site already has?
No. A link that already exists in the crawl is never suggested. That is why suggestions start from a crawl of your site.
How is it different from other internal linking tools?
The links come from the same page plan and live top 10 that decide which page owns each keyword, and each suggestion shows its evidence. The link plan is also part of every brief, so links are decided before the page is written.
What does the crawl cost?
About $0.00015 per page on your own DataForSEO key, or about $0.0015 per page with JavaScript rendering. You see the estimate before it starts, and one crawl stops at 10,000 pages.
Does SerpDad add the links to my site?
No. You mark a suggestion as added, dismiss it or copy it. Links planned in a brief are placed in the draft, and signed drafts reach WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Google Docs as drafts that a person publishes.
How are anchors chosen?
Anchors come from each target page's own keywords, and no anchor text is used twice in the project. By default each page gets 3 to 5 contextual links, placed only where the anchor reads naturally.
