Company / Refusals
Four things SerpDad refuses to do. Written down, so you can hold us to them.
SerpDad never publishes for you, never invents a fact, never claims it caused a ranking, and never resells provider usage. Each refusal costs us something. Here is what each one means in the product, and why we keep it.
Refusal one. SerpDad never publishes for you.
In the product
Signed-off drafts go to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Google Docs as drafts. You press publish in your own system. A named person signs off the exact version first, and any later edit removes the signature.
Why
Your name is on the site, so a person should decide what goes live. A tool that publishes on its own makes your worst day possible at 3am.
What it costs us
There is no autopilot button. Some buyers want one, and they will pick another tool.
Refusal two. SerpDad never invents a fact.
In the product
Briefs carry sourced claims from the page's own top 10. Drafts are written only from those brief items, and every sentence cites its source. A sentence with no source is marked Unsourced and blocks sign-off. There is no approve anyway.
Why
AI that writes something false, and ships it, is one of the most expensive mistakes a content team makes. The AI writes sentences. The facts come from sources you can open.
What it costs us
If a section has too little material, SerpDad returns it with a list of what is missing. It never pads, so some drafts take longer.
Refusal three. SerpDad never claims it caused a ranking.
In the product
Measure shows what each planned page earns in Search Console, rankings and AI Overviews. The content score is advice from 0 to 100. It is never a gate and never predicts rank.
Why
Rankings move for many reasons, and nobody outside Google can isolate one. When our own numbers go up, our build log says so and adds: we can't prove SerpDad caused it.
What it costs us
No headlines about 400% traffic growth. We will show you the plan, the decisions and the receipts instead.
Refusal four. SerpDad never resells provider usage.
In the product
You add your own DataForSEO and AI provider keys, and those providers bill you directly at their prices. SerpDad shows an estimate before every run and the actual cost after it. A spend cap and an approval line stop surprises.
Why
When a tool marks up usage, it earns more when your runs cost more. We want the opposite incentive. Our 1,797 keyword run cost $13.10 in provider fees, and you can check every line.
What it costs us
Setting up keys is an extra step before your first run, and we earn nothing on usage. One flat subscription is the whole business.
Hold us to it.
