Solutions / Programmatic SEO
A programmatic SEO tool for the planning step. One owner page per pattern, up to 200,000 keywords.
Programmatic SEO lives or dies on one question: which variants of a pattern deserve a page of their own? SerpDad is a programmatic SEO tool for that question. It reads Google's live top 10 for every variant, puts variants that share results on one page, gives the rest their own page, and parks the ones nobody searches. Your page generator then builds only what the plan says.
Your first plan is free up to 1,000 keywords. No card needed.
Before you read on. Is this you?
- You have a pattern, such as [product] for [use], and thousands of variants to fill it.
- You plan to build pages from a template and a data source.
- Some of your near-identical pages split the same queries, or never earn an impression.
- Someone will ask why page 4,000 exists, and you want an answer better than the spreadsheet had a row for it.
- Your keyword list is bigger than a spreadsheet enjoys.
Probably not a fit if you want a tool that generates and publishes the pages. SerpDad stops at the plan, the briefs and the drafts. It has no page generator and never publishes. It also plans for United States, English, desktop only today, which matters if your pattern is a list of places abroad.
Three programmatic jobs, and what SerpDad does for each one.
Decide the page list, hand it to your build, brief the pages that carry the pattern.
1. Decide which variants earn their own page
Two variants belong on one page when Google already treats them as one: their top 10 results share at least 3 of the same URLs. That line is a setting. Choose Fewer (2 of 10) for broader pages, More (4 of 10) for narrower ones, or any line from 1 to 10. A free preview shows the page count before you re-run.
Each group also gets a second check: does it stand alone, or is it an H2 section inside a related page? Variants with no search volume and nothing to join are parked. They stay in the plan, without a thin page of their own. Every call links to its receipt.
2. Hand the plan to whatever builds your pages
Export the plan as CSV and feed it to your template, database or CMS import. Or connect your own system: the Webhook trigger takes a signed keyword list at a secret URL, up to 10,000 keywords a call and 60 calls an hour, and a Call a webhook step sends the result back signed with HMAC-SHA256.
Every run plans the whole list, not only the new rows. Variants your site already ranks for come back as Optimize or Ranks, so a new batch does not duplicate a live page. Re-runs of stored keywords are free on SerpDad.
3. Brief the head pages before you template the rest
Each run writes briefs for the top 5 pages by search volume, and a workflow can brief more. A brief comes from that page's own top 10: the angle, an outline with word budgets, the questions searchers ask and sourced facts. Read the head pages' briefs and you know what your template must hold.
Drafts are written only from sourced brief items, and every sentence cites its source. A named person signs off before anything is exported or staged as a draft.
The pattern workflow. From variant list to page list.
Import the variants
Upload up to 20 files of 10 MB each, or send them from your own system by webhook. SerpDad removes exact duplicates only. Similar variants stay separate until the results decide.
Read the cost gate
It shows your keywords against the 200,000 limit, exact lines for the top 10 fetch and search volume at your DataForSEO prices, and how many results it can reuse for free.
Preview the granularity, then run
Pick how broad a page should be and check the page count. Approve the estimate, and the run fetches, groups, checks and parks.
Settle the close calls and export
Only real ties reach a person. Export the plan, or let a webhook carry it to your build.
Proof, for now. The same rule, on our own site.
From our own run on serpdad.com
Our own run on serpdad.com was not a programmatic project, and we will not pretend it was. It does show the rule doing the job a pattern needs: 94 keyword groups became H2 sections inside other pages instead of pages of their own, and 41 keywords were parked rather than given a thin page.
Running a pattern at scale? The first 30 paying workspaces keep $15 a month for life while they keep paying. Claim a founding seat.
The math. What a programmatic plan costs.
| Keywords in the run | Provider fees on your keys | Where the number comes from |
|---|---|---|
| 1,797 | $13.10. The estimate before the run was $4.32 to $14.77. | Our Run 2 on serpdad.com, October 2026 |
| 10,000 | About $73 | The same cost per keyword as Run 2 |
| 200,000, the limit for one run | About $1,460 | The same cost per keyword as Run 2 |
| Re-running the same list | Only results older than 30 days and new keywords | Re-runs are free on SerpDad |
Keyword data was $10.42 of our $13.10. Patterns produce a lot of variants nobody searches, so trimming the obvious junk before a run cuts the biggest line. SerpDad never marks up provider usage.
On top of provider fees is one SerpDad plan: $15 a month per workspace for the first 30 workspaces, locked for life. There is no keyword limit beyond the 200,000 per run.

Does SerpDad generate or publish the pages?
No. SerpDad plans which pages should exist, writes briefs and drafts from sourced facts, and stages drafts in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Google Docs. It has no page generator and never publishes. Export the plan as CSV and give it to whatever builds your pages.
How many keywords can one run handle?
Up to 200,000 keywords per run and per project. A larger run is refused at the cost gate with the count to remove. Nothing is fetched and nothing is charged.
How does it decide whether two variants share a page?
By counting shared results. Two keywords go on one page when their top 10 results share at least 3 of the same URLs. You can choose Fewer (2 of 10), More (4 of 10) or any line from 1 to 10, and a free preview shows the page count before you re-run.
What happens to variants nobody searches?
They are parked. A parked keyword stays in the plan sum without a page, because it has no search volume or nothing close enough to join. You can turn any parked keyword into a page later.
Can my own system send keywords to SerpDad?
Yes. The Webhook trigger takes a signed keyword list at a secret URL, up to 10,000 keywords a call and 60 calls an hour per workflow. It refuses stale and replayed calls.
Can I plan location patterns outside the United States?
Not yet. Each project is set to United States, English, desktop when it is created.
Build only the pages that earn it.
