Solutions / In-house SEO

In-house SEO software for the meeting upstairs. Defend the content plan with receipts.

SerpDad is in-house SEO software for leads at B2B SaaS companies and content sites. It reads Google's live top 10 for every keyword, gives each keyword one owner page on your site, and shows the evidence behind every decision. So when leadership asks why these pages, you open the receipt.

Your first plan is free up to 1,000 keywords. No card needed.

Before you read on. Is this you?

  • Your site has 30 or more pages earning impressions in Search Console.
  • You still publish, and someone pays for that content.
  • More than one person publishes to the same site.
  • Traffic went flat while output stayed steady.
  • Your name is on the plan when leadership reviews it.

Probably not a fit yet if your site has a handful of pages, you have no Search Console history, or you need a live writing score inside an editor. SerpDad decides which pages to build and fix. It is not a page editor.

What you hear in the room. Three questions every in-house lead gets.

Why these pages, and not others?

A content calendar built from a spreadsheet is hard to defend. The person asking has a budget to protect.

Why do two of our pages fight each other?

Years of publishing by different people leave pages that chase the same queries. Nobody remembers which page owns what.

Did the content we paid for work?

Leadership wants the planned pages measured, not a dashboard of 200 charts.

Three jobs, and the in-house SEO software behind each one.

1. Defend the content plan to leadership

Import keywords from a file, Ahrefs, Google Sheets or Search Console. SerpDad shows the provider cost before it spends anything, then maps each keyword to one owner page. Your existing URLs go in first, so every row gets a verdict: New page, Optimize #N, Ranks #N or Pages compete.

Every verdict links to its receipt: the top 10 results and which URLs two keywords share. That is evidence from Google's own results, not your opinion against someone else's. Export the plan as CSV for the deck.

How the page plan works

2. Stop your own pages competing

When two of your pages show up for the same queries, the plan marks them Pages compete and names both URLs. You decide which page keeps the keyword, merge them, or pin an owner. Real ties go to a review queue with the evidence for both sides.

The content audit sorts every page into five buckets: quick win, striking distance, rework, decay and prune. Each comes from your own Search Console rows, so you can see why each page landed where it did.

How the content audit works

3. Measure the pages you planned

Connect Search Console with read-only access. Measure compares each planned page with the 28 days before and with 3 months ago, and a page only counts as moved when the change is real, not noise. Rank tracking and AI Overview and AI Mode citations sit beside it.

The monthly report opens with the month in three lines and ends with a receipts appendix. It reports what moved and by how much. It never claims SerpDad caused it, which is the sentence that keeps you credible upstairs.

How Measure works

Set it up once. The in-house workflow, on a schedule.

  1. Keyword pile to page plan

The default for every project. Import keywords, approve the estimate, settle the close calls, get the plan.

  2. Monthly re-run

Run the plan again each month. New Search Console queries land in the keyword inbox, and re-runs are free on SerpDad.

  3. Refresh pages that are losing traffic

Finds pages whose clicks fell 20% or more over 28 days and asks a person before any refresh starts.

  4. Weekly AI visibility

Checks AI Overview and AI Mode citations for your planned pages every week.

Our first in-house site is our own, serpdad.com. We ran SerpDad on it before asking anyone to pay. Every keyword, decision and receipt is in the build log.

What it will not do: SerpDad never claims it caused a ranking. When impressions on planned pages go up, the report shows the numbers and leaves the credit out.

The math. What a plan costs to defend.

Our run on serpdad.com covered 1,797 keywords. Before it started, SerpDad estimated $4.32 to $14.77 in provider fees. The actual bill was $13.10, paid to DataForSEO and our AI provider on our own keys.

On top of that is one SerpDad plan: $15 a month per workspace for the first 30 workspaces, locked for life while you keep paying. No seat limit, so writers, editors and freelancers join free. A spend cap and an approval line mean nobody runs up a bill by accident.

How do I show leadership why a page is on the plan?

Open its receipt. Every decision links to the top 10 results behind it and the URLs two keywords share. You can export the whole plan as CSV.

Does it work with the pages we already have?

Yes. Your existing URLs go into the plan first, so each keyword gets a verdict: New page, Optimize, Ranks, or Pages compete.

Will SerpDad tell me if our own pages compete?

Yes. When two of your pages show up for the same queries, the plan marks them Pages compete and names both URLs. Real ties go to your review queue with the evidence.

Can SerpDad prove our content caused more traffic?

No, and it will not try. Measure shows what moved on each planned page and by how much, from your own Search Console data. It never claims SerpDad caused a change.

What does it cost to run?

One plan per workspace, from $15 a month, plus provider fees billed to your own keys. Our run of 1,797 keywords cost $13.10 in provider fees, and SerpDad showed an estimate before it spent anything.

Does this replace Ahrefs or Semrush?

No. Bring keywords from any tool you like. SerpDad decides which page each keyword belongs on and measures the pages you planned.
