An affiliate content planning tool for roundups. Best, vs and review pages that never compete.

Affiliate sites rarely fail for lack of pages. They fail when five roundups chase the same searches and every one of them carries a spec nobody checked. SerpDad is an affiliate content planning tool that reads Google's live top 10 for every keyword, gives each best, vs and review query one owner page, and drafts only from claims a person ticked against a source.

Your first plan is free up to 1,000 keywords. No card needed.

Before you read on. Is this you?

  • You have several roundups for close variants of one query, written in different years.
  • Two of your own pages earn impressions for the same best or vs keywords.
  • Freelancers write the reviews, and nobody can say where a spec or price came from.
  • Old roundups slid after a core update and you are not sure which to fix first.
  • Your site writes for readers in the United States.

Probably not a fit if you want a link manager, price feeds or comparison tables that update themselves. SerpDad decides which page owns which query and writes sourced briefs and drafts. It does not touch affiliate links, disclosures or prices on your live pages, and it plans for United States, English, desktop only.

Three affiliate jobs, and what the affiliate content planning tool does for each.

1. One owner page for every best, vs and review query

Roundup keywords breed. "Best trail shoes", "best trail running shoes" and "top trail runners" may be one page or three. SerpDad does not guess from the wording. It counts how many of the same URLs each pair shares in its top 10, and pairs that share 3 or more go on one page.

Each keyword then has exactly one owner page, and no second page ever targets it. When two of your existing URLs already earn impressions for one planned page, the plan marks it Pages compete and names both. Every call opens a receipt with the shared URLs, so the argument with your co-founder takes one click.

How the page plan decides

2. Product claims with a source a person checked

Every brief lists its claims with a source link and an unticked box. A person reads the passage and ticks it, and SerpDad records who and when. Drafts are written only from ticked claims, quotes cited word for word and experience answers.

On every save, each number, price, date and product name in a sentence must appear in that sentence's own cited items. A sentence with no source blocks sign-off. Specs change, so the fact library marks a claim Stale after 365 days and Source dead when the page stops loading.

How sourced drafts work

3. Brief the comparison pages first, with an approval

The Affiliate comparison pages template plans the list, then keeps the pages whose focus keyword contains best, vs, review, alternative, top or compare. Of those, it briefs the top 15 comparison and list pages.

The brief list then waits for an Owner or Admin to approve it. The approval expires after 7 days, so nothing goes stale in a queue. After approval, SerpDad plans the internal links between the pages and exports the briefs as Markdown.

Read the template step by step

The part we won't fake. Reviews need someone who used the thing.

A roundup can be built from sources. A review cannot be built from sources alone. SerpDad knows the difference, so every article runs an experience interview before drafting: 3 to 5 questions only someone who held the product can answer. Your answers become E# items, and drafts cite them like any other source.

No answers, no hands-on paragraph. If a section has too little material, SerpDad hands it back with a list of what is missing. It never pads a review with confident filler, which is exactly the filler that gets an affiliate site in trouble with readers.

The affiliate workflow. From keyword export to approved briefs.

  1. Import the keywords you and your rivals rank for

Paste a list, upload a file, pull from your Ahrefs account or seed from up to 5 competitor domains. Search Console adds the queries you already earn.

  2. Approve the estimate

The cost gate shows the fetch and keyword data lines at your DataForSEO prices before a cent is spent.

  3. Settle the close calls

Ties go to the review queue: own page or a section, which shape, which of your pages. Your answers hold on every later run.

  4. Run the Affiliate comparison pages template

It copies into your workspace as a draft. Change the filter words or the brief count, then approve the brief list.

How does SerpDad stop two roundups competing?

Every keyword gets exactly one owner page. Two keywords share a page when their top 10 results share at least 3 of the same URLs, and no second page ever targets a keyword that already has an owner. When two of your existing URLs earn impressions for one planned page, the plan marks it Pages compete.

Does SerpDad add affiliate links or disclosures?

No. SerpDad plans pages, writes briefs and drafts from sourced brief items, and stages drafts as drafts. Affiliate links, disclosures and prices on the live page are yours to add and keep current.

Can it write a product review without anyone testing the product?

It will not invent the hands-on part. First-hand detail comes from the experience interview, 3 to 5 questions only someone who used the product can answer. If a section has too little material, SerpDad returns it with a list of what is missing.

What does the Affiliate comparison pages template do?

It plans the keyword list, keeps pages whose focus keyword contains best, vs, review, alternative, top or compare, writes briefs for the top 15 comparison and list pages, waits for an Owner or Admin to approve them, plans their internal links and exports them as Markdown.

What happens when a product spec in a brief goes out of date?

The fact library marks a claim Stale when its last tick is more than 365 days old, and Source dead when the source page no longer loads. Briefs that cite a stale fact show a badge. Re-verify fetches the source again so a person can tick it.

Can I plan for a site outside the United States?

Not yet. Each project plans for United States, English, desktop, fixed when the project is created.
