The topical authority tool that shows you every page to build.
SerpDad reads Google's top 10 for every keyword in your topic, then tells you which pages to build, which to fix, and why. To show you how, we ran it on our own site. Everything below is the real result.
Your first plan is free up to 1,000 keywords. No card needed.

What is topical authority? Covering a topic so well your site becomes the obvious place for it.
Topical authority is how completely and clearly your site covers one subject. Not one great article, but every question around it, each answered on the right page, all linked together.
It is an industry term, not a score Google publishes. SerpDad doesn't claim to measure it. It helps you see your coverage and fill it, using the results Google already shows for each keyword.
The hard part is knowing which pages to build. That is the question this page answers, for our own topic.
We started with three seed keywords. SerpDad read the top 10 for all 1,797.
Seeds: topical authority, keyword clustering and keyword cannibalization. We exported every matching term from Ahrefs and added the keywords from our first run: 1,797 in all. Google's results did the sorting.
- Any keyword toolAhrefs, Semrush, Keyword Planner, a pasted list or Search Console queries.
- Exact duplicates onlyKeywords are never merged because they look alike. Google's results decide.
- Up to 200,000 per runNo keyword limit on the plan.
Before anything ran, SerpDad showed us the cost.
The job "Keyword pile to page plan" waited for our approval. Every lookup runs on our own DataForSEO and AI provider keys, at their prices, with no markup.
The estimate was $4.32 to $14.77. We approved it, and the run spent $13.10, paid straight to the providers.
SerpDad fetched Google's top 10 for every keyword.
Then it grouped keywords into pages. When two keywords share 3 or more of the same top 10 URLs, they belong on one page.
It took 1 hour 22 minutes. The result: 791 pages planned, 94 H2 sections, 41 keywords parked and 295 decisions for us. Every decision keeps a receipt.
Google's results told us what this homepage should target.
"Topical authority tool" shares 6 of its top 10 with "build topical authority tool", so one page owns both. That page is this homepage.
It shares only 2 with "topical authority", so the topic itself gets its own guide.
"Topical authority checker" surprised us. Google shows domain authority checkers for it. It shares 1 result, so it got its own page too.
To rank for topical authority, SerpDad planned pages. are real; the rest is junk we set aside.
Here are the 11 biggest by search volume, plus one surprise, straight from the run. Every keyword has exactly one owner page. Click a page to see the keywords it owns and the receipt behind it.
Every page gets a brief. Built from its own top 10.
The run wrote 12 briefs automatically. Here is the real one for our keyword clustering page: the angle, the outline with word budgets, and what the ranking pages tell the writer. Drafts come next, and every claim in them will need a source.
Then we linked the cluster together.
Every supporting page links to the pillar guide, and the pillar links back. SerpDad's site crawl lists the links each page should have and flags any page left without one.
The links in our own footer follow this plan.
Now we publish and measure. In public.
This is our real progress on the topical authority cluster. As each page ships, SerpDad tracks its Search Console clicks, rankings and AI Overview citations, and a monthly job re-runs the plan to catch new queries and decay.

What does a topical authority tool do?
It shows you how much of a topic your site covers and what is missing. SerpDad goes further: it decides which page each keyword belongs on, so you know exactly which pages to build and which to fix.
How do you build topical authority?
Cover every subtopic on the right page, link the pages together, and keep them current. The plan on this page is how we're doing it for our own site.
Can SerpDad measure my topical authority?
No tool can measure it directly, because it isn't a score Google publishes. SerpDad shows your coverage of each subtopic and what each planned page earns in Search Console and AI answers.
Will SerpDad make my site rank?
No tool can promise that. SerpDad helps you cover your topic fully, without overlaps or gaps. Results depend on your site, your content and your market.
Is SerpDad a keyword research tool?
No. Bring keywords from any tool you like. SerpDad turns them into a page plan, briefs and a monthly check.
Does SerpDad publish to my site?
No. You publish. SerpDad sends drafts to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Google Docs as drafts, and a person signs off first.
