Fact-checked AI drafts: every claim cited, and a named person signs off.

SerpDad writes fact-checked AI drafts from one rule: the AI writes sentences, never facts. Each sentence cites a checked claim, a quote or your own experience. A sentence with no source blocks sign-off, and a named person signs the exact version you ship.

Drafts only. SerpDad never publishes to your site.

Fast drafts are easy. Checking them is the job nobody budgets for.

The editor becomes the fact-checker

A writer turns in 2,000 words in an hour. The editor spends the afternoon hunting for where each number came from.

A plausible sentence slips through

The draft reads well, so nobody checks the line about the 2023 study. The study does not exist, and now it is on your site.

Nobody owns what shipped

The AI wrote it, a writer pasted it and an editor skimmed it. When a reader finds the error, there is no name on the version that went live.

AI content with sources. Four kinds of sentence, and only one can be unsourced.

Every sentence in a SerpDad draft has a type, shown as a chip. Three types point at something you can open. The fourth is a linking sentence that asserts nothing a reader could check.

If a section has too little material to write from, SerpDad hands it back with a list of what is missing. It does not pad the section to hit a word count.

Draft versions never change. Any edit makes a new version, so the one you sign is the one you ship.

ChipSentence typeWhere it comes from
F# Fact A claim in the brief that a person ticked after reading its source
E# Experience A saved answer from your experience interview
Q# Quote Named words, cited exactly, from a public page
none Connective A linking sentence with nothing to check

How a draft gets to sign-off. Prepare, draft, check, sign.

  1. Prepare the material

Tick the claims you trust, add quotes, and answer 3 to 5 interview questions only a practitioner can answer. Set the writer, the signer and the byline.

  2. Draft from brief items only

Draft all sections stays disabled until every section has material. You see the estimated cost on your AI key before it starts.

  3. Check every sentence twice

On every save, each number, date, name, quoted string and URL must appear in that sentence's own sources. Then a larger model reads each sentence against its sources.

  4. Sign the exact version

A named Editor, Manager, Admin or Owner signs. There is no approve-anyway, you cannot sign a version you edited last, and any later edit removes the signature.

What it won't do. It never fills a gap with a guess.

When the brief has nothing to say about a point, a one-click writer says something anyway. SerpDad marks the sentence Unsourced and stops. You can redraft it, verify it, rewrite it with no claim, remove it, or revert to the source.

The cost is honest: some drafts come back shorter than you hoped, with a list of material to find. The trade is that every export ends with a provenance table, one row per sentence, with its type, source and verified state.

How does SerpDad stop an AI draft from inventing facts?

The draft can only use items from the brief: ticked claims, quotes with a source and your own experience answers. Every sentence cites one of them, or asserts nothing checkable.

What happens to a sentence with no source?

It shows in red with an Unsourced chip. You can redraft it, verify it, rewrite it with no claim, remove it or revert to the source. While one remains, the draft cannot be signed.

What do the checks on save look for?

Every number, percent, currency amount, date, proper noun, quoted string and URL must appear in that sentence's own cited items. They also flag banned words and wording too close to a source. They cost nothing on your keys.

Who can sign off a draft?

An Editor, Manager, Admin or Owner, by name, on one exact version. You cannot sign a version you edited last. In a one-member workspace the export says self-signed.

Is there a faster path than section by section?

Yes. With the outline approval path you approve each outline once, and SerpDad writes the article from the pages the outline came from, removing any sentence those pages do not support. Approving the outline is the sign-off.

Does SerpDad publish the signed draft?

No. It stages a draft in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or Google Docs, or exports Markdown or HTML. A person with publish rights publishes it.
