The keyword pile to signed articles template: from keyword list to signed article.

This SEO content approval workflow starts with a keyword list and ends with articles a named person has signed. It builds the page plan, writes briefs for the top pages, drafts each article only from sourced brief items, checks every sentence and waits for the sign-off.

Every template asks before it spends and never publishes.

Who it is for, and what starts a run.

Who it is for

Writing teams and content leads who need a record of who approved what. Every sentence carries its source, and every article carries a name.

Use it when an editor has to stand behind each piece before it leaves the building.

What starts it

Manual. A person presses Run and uploads a keyword file or pastes a list.

At Use template you can swap the file for Keywords from Ahrefs instead.

The blocks, in the order they run.

Each block is a step you can open in the editor. Every step keeps a receipt: inputs, outputs, evidence, provider, cost and timings.

  1. Import keywords

Adds the keywords from the file or paste to the project.

  2. Engine group

Fetches the top 10 for each keyword, fills volumes, groups keywords that share results into pages, scores scope and format, routes around pages you already have, parks weak pages and adds secondary keywords.

  3. Human review

Lists the plan's contested decisions on the Review page. The run goes on while review stays open.

  4. Generate brief

Writes briefs for the top pages by volume (5 by default). Pages that already have a brief with human work are skipped.

  5. Draft

Waits up to 7 days for a person to prepare each article: tick the claims they trust, add quotes and answer the experience interview. Then it drafts each section from those items only. A section without material lists what is missing.

  6. Verify

A larger AI model reads every sentence against its sources. Unsourced sentences are flagged for a person to fix.

  7. Plan internal links

Places links in the draft's own sentences, only where the anchor already reads, and lists the rest for a person.

  8. Score content

Gives each draft a score from 0 to 100 with the fixes that would raise it. It advises and never blocks.

  9. Sign-off

Waits up to 14 days for an Editor or above to sign each exact draft version. You cannot sign a version you last edited.

  10. Export Markdown or HTML

Exports the signed articles as Markdown with the receipts appendix.

  11. Notify by email

Emails the person who approved the run that the export is ready.

A draft can only be signed with zero unsourced sentences and every section drafted. There is no approve anyway, and any edit after signing removes the signature.

Before it spends, it asks.

Approvals

Approve run comes first, with one line per spending block, your DataForSEO balance and your monthly cap after the run.

Then two people steps: someone prepares each article for Draft, and an Editor, Manager, Admin or Owner signs it. In a one member workspace the Owner signs and the export says self-signed.

What it costs

SERPs and search volume on your DataForSEO key. Briefs, drafts and the full verify on your AI key.

Score content and Plan internal links cost nothing. The draft step shows its units and estimated cost before it drafts.

What you get when the run finishes.

  • A page plan with its decisions on the Review page.
  • Briefs for the top pages, built from each page's own top 10.
  • Articles signed by a named person, each sentence tied to a fact, quote or experience answer.
  • Markdown files with a provenance table: every sentence, its type, source and verified state.
  • An email to the approver when the export is ready.

No workflow can publish to a site. Drafts and tasks wait for a person. Spending waits for an approval, and every run checks your monthly cap first.
